Anthropic’s CEO is about to have dinner with President Trump

Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei is set to have dinner with President Donald Trump at the White House, their first one-on-one meeting, Axios reported and TechCrunch confirmed. Music startup Thoughtful Things launched a Kickstarter for Engram, a sampler and groovebox that uses AI to mangle incoming audio and hallucinate new sounds rather than generate finished songs. The device runs a small in-house model locally without an internet connection. The company says its audio models are trained only on openly licensed commercial-use datasets such as CC-BY.
